THE CONDITION
"Here, drink this. It will help," Danny said and handed me a hot steamy soup. I took it carefully so it doesn't spill on me and gulped a little.
"Ouch, gosh it's too hot!" I cried out as the soup burned my tongue.
"Oh no...I'm so sorry...I should have blown it cool...here give it to me…"
"No, that's okay. I can do that. Thanks," I told Danny and took another short sip from the soup after blowing gently on it. This time it didn't burn my tongue although it was still very hot.
I had just woken up from a long sleep and realized I felt much better and healed before Danny walked in with a bowl of soup.
