Emilia let out a very shy smile as soon as Lucas left her presence.

"Is that a smile I see on your face?" her stone asked, teasing her.

"Shut your mouth," she voiced out.

"You better talk to me through your mind, you would not want your handsome mate to become suspicious about all this."

Immediately Emilia saw Lucas walking into the sitting room with an icebag, she composed herself.

He sat down close to her. "Give me your hand," he said to her.

She obeyed him and stretched out her hand immediately.

Lucas took her palm into his own and began to dab the ice bag on the part of her palm where he believed that she felt pain.

Emilia continued with her act by pretending as though she was in pain. This act of hers caused Lucas to blow on her palm while dabbing it with the icebag.
