I had never thought that the male orphan who grew up together with me would try to kill me.

After Charles asked me to leave, I headed back to the ward, thinking of what my fate would become.

As I was walking through the hall, someone dragged me by my elbow. I wasn't expecting that, so I tried forcing myself lose.

"You can't escape from me, so stop trying," the person who grabbed me said.

His voice was very familiar, so I tried turning around to look at his face, which wasn't difficult in any way.

I turned and found out that it was James, a fellow orphan. I actually met him in the orphanage when I joined them. I wondered why he dragged me like that.

"What do you think you are doing? We could end up in terrible trouble if anyone sees us here," I said to him.

"You are already in a serious trouble, so there is no need to worry about anyone but yourself," he answered. His words and his actions was enough proof that he intended to harm me.
