(Asher's pov)

We were half way through the gates when a vampire perceived the smell of blood on Evie's shoulders then went crazy and launched towards Evie... Evie let out a loud scream and when I turned around to check what was wrong , what I saw frightened me and I immediately turned pale... she let out another scream and that woke me up from my trance... I ran towards her and half shifted then sucked my claws into the guts of the vampire... the other vampires wanted to attack me but I roared with rage sending them a warning that if they dare to try step closer I wouldn't mind tearing all of them to shreds...
