Chapter Thirty Six

Laughter could be heard coming from the study room. Zane and Naevia were done eating their food. The empty plates and glass showed how much they enjoyed the meal. But the two of them weren't there.

"Full concentration. No distractions please," Naevia ordered Zane. Placing her hands on her head and gazing down at the chessboard.

Both of them had gone to sit on the couch to begin their game night. The game was chess. Naevia brought it since that's what Zane loved playing the most. Information gotten from Kelvin.

"Alright then. No distractions my lady. Do as you please," Zane listened, crossing his arms and watching her.

Naevia gazed hard at the chessboard. She brought her right hand down and picked the queen. She sees an opening and kills most of Zane's pawns.

"Haha! I'm getting a hang of this now," she cheered and sat back excitedly.

Zane scoffed at her and said, facing down at the chessboard, "Good one Naevia. But you left so many openings to your King." Zane pointed it out for Naevi
