Jade Mitchell POV

"Can you guys speed this up? Emily and Tyler will be here in twenty minutes," I told the boys who were finishing setting up Olivia's crib in the couple's room.

It had been five days since the birth. Caroline had simply disappeared without telling anyone who the father of her child was. Josh returned from his trip as soon as he received a message from Justin saying that Olivia would like him more because he had witnessed her birth.

As a result, Josh was at the front door the next day with a load of bears, dolls, and pink things, turning the guest room into the "Toy Room," claiming that Olivia wouldn't even remember Justin when she saw it. I think he was quite disappointed when he saw the newborn who only knew how to sleep and feed.

We had to fix all the windows in the house that were hit by the shots, replace the glass with bulletproof glass, and hire a security battalion, both for the days they stayed at the hospital and here at home. Tyler didn't even come home anym
