Chapter sixty one: catching up

"I would actually kill for a hot bath."

Those were the words I mumbled as I pushed into my bedroom, feeling tired beyond measure. I looked around my bedroom, frowning when I found the lights off with no one inside. I walked towards my bathroom, pausing when I heard the sound of whimpering on the other side of the door.

"M-my king... Ah- not too deep, please..." A woman begged softly, sounds of moaning coming from her mouth.

I rolled my eyes at the lewd sounds. I hated these human girls with a passion.

It angers me that I used to be one of them.

I untied my ponytail and ruffled out my weak curls, throwing the hairtie on top of the dressing table. "Honey! Can you finish up in there so I can take a shower." I called out to Alexander. There was a slight pause before his muffled voice spoke. "Just a moment, my love. Would you stay still." He growled at the woman in there with him.

I took off my bead necklace and bracelets, putting them carefully inside the drawer that stored my jewelry.
