Suspense Surprise

From her left, Rose saw the shadow emerging and the people who had been hiding in the bushes and trees stepped out. Their faces were covered with cloaks and mask that covered the lower half of their face. Another group of people waited from behind.

"That's the woman?" One of the men that had been hiding behind the tree, becoming one with the darkness looked at Rose with his eyes squinted. When his fellow friend nodded his head, he smiled, "Seems like today's job would be the easiest one."

They were convinced that taking down Rose would be easy. They only need to make her terrified and screamed for help to the point where she appeared traumatized before going to help her from the "attacker" which was their fellow ally that took position to trick the girl.

What they wasn't aware of was Rose's deep stubbornness. No matter how scared she was, she kept her guard to herself. When the man tried to grabbed her by her hand, Rose took more rocks from the ground, throwing them to the man.

She kn
