She's silently listening to the wind coming from her opened window, whispering through her ear and making her feel at ease. It's already ten in the evening. Everyone's asleep, maybe they're tired because of the long journey. She's tired, too. But something's keeping her awake this night.

Her eyes darted into her ankle. The anklet is still nowhere to be found. Maybe it's already gone for good now. That's sad. She'd been keeping that anklet for two years and it was gone now. How stupid she is.

Her hand reached for her chest and balled it into a fist. She shut her eyes close and heaved a deep breath. It's hard to deny but she missed him. There's a part of her that wants to see him but there's also a part of her that's afraid of that day to happen.

"I just need milk," she murmured to herself before going out of her room.

The house is silent. The dim lights coming from the lamp in the living room are the only source of light. This is the first time that she has traveled away from New York.
