We were riding on top of Fifi’s back when we met up with the others. I thought that we would be meeting a ship, but it turns out that it was just a huge crate of gear supplies. A sudden wave of turbulence burst in our way the moment we crossed the barrier that Helighor warned us about. Byron fought off most of the wave that was headed our way using his magic. But it was pitch black in these parts of the water that Byron couldn’t fight off every wave that threatened to wash us away.
