Escape plan
When they came back after their shopping, Chloe is surprised to see the house decorated for the party.
There are curtains draped to the railing and flowers arranged in bunches every here and there.
People are rushing here and there in a hurry. Chloe looked at Nero, who is eying everything with a blank face.
His men were given temporary rooms in the basement until the party. Juan promised to give them proper rooms tomorrow.
Nero just nodded his head, thinking it's not necessary.
"Lucas" Juan exclaimed happily, forcing Nero to look in his direction.
Chloe became tense after listening to his voice.
"You said you will be gone for a week" Nero commented, making Juan laugh with mirth.
"Yes, initially I planned to stay for a week thinking that Chloe might need that time to adjust to this place. But when I heard she is doing ok, I couldn't stay away anymore. So I rushed to look at her for myself" he said eying Chloe from top to toe.
