Heart broken

Chloe woke up feeling like shit. She cried until she passed out from exertion last night. She is not feeling much better now either. She kept remembering Nero's face again and again. For a minute she saw his helplessness and anguish when he was standing close to her in that bathroom. But when she was about to feel hopeful that he would tell her what happened and why he had to marry someone else, he left.

She cannot understand why he is doing all this. She needed an explanation for his behavior. She deserves that much from him. But he is not talking to her at all. That's the most depressing thing. She needs closure from him. 

Just like clockwork, she showered and got dressed for work. She drives herself to the hospital and walks towards her room like a zombie. Her mind is still filled with the images of Nero and the time they spent together.
