Time to move on

Chloe rushed down the stairs after she poured her heart out in front of Nero. She would have ran out of the mansion if Luca didn't stop her.

"Chloe," he said and she immediately stopped moving forward and hastily wiped her tears away.

She turns to face Nero's father with a forced smile.

"Hello sir" she greeted him softly, her voice hoarse from crying.

She cleared her throat so that it wouldn't sound so rough. But it's clear that she is been crying.

"How are you, child?" he asked softly.

"I am doing good sir, thank you" she replied politely.

Luca is not the kind of man who likes to beat around the bush. So he came directly to the point.

What he went through is too much but he too should have gotten over his fears just as he made Chloe to get over hers.
