A condition

In one of Chicago's finest hospitals, Russell is looking at his granddaughter with mixed emotions. All the doctors and nurses left the room. It has been one hour since he administered his own anti-clot medicine to his granddaughter. Her vitals improved and her pulse picked up. He removed her off of the ventilator machine and pulled the several tubes and machines that the doctors stuck to her body. She is now only on IV.

To him, he is seeing his own daughter in Olivia's place. There was a time in his daughter's life when he had to treat her to pull her out of her drug addiction. He thought that was the most painful moment of his life. But how wrong was he? He had to see so much worse and here he is, standing in the same crossroads at which he once stood with his daughter. His one decision to let his daughter marry an undeserving man led her to her death. Now, he will not let the same thing happen to his granddaughter again.

I agree! I just can't take it anymore! I'm too invested in this and too pissed off for Alessandro and Olivia..
