Bitter with resentment

Kairo walked inside the basement followed by Naim, Atlas, and two other men. One of the two is the bodyguard assigned to the safety of Rose alongside Atlas.

One of the men pulled a chair to the middle of the room, just underneath the dim light which is hanging from the ceiling.

Kairo did not sit. Instead, he glared at Sylvia with anger and resentment. His hands are buried in his pant pockets.

"Is this it? Does our 5-year-old companionship mean nothing to you? We were engaged for two years as well. It means nothing to you? I am the mother of your child, does that mean nothing? You decided to kill me just because I offended her?" Sylvia asked Kairo. She struggled to sit up while holding the wall for support. No one made a move to help her. At this point, they all hate Sylvia.

Kairo chuckled loudly at her words. His voice is hollow and cold.
