Chapter 62
Only a few minutes later I spotted a car parked on the side of the road, Theo!
My heart started racing as we pulled closer, he was standing out there waiting for me and I couldn't contain myself as the SUV rolled to a stop and his silver eyes practically pulled me from the car.
I don't even think the car had completely stopped when I ran from it and thumped straight into his hard chest, swooping myself under his arms, squeezing him as tight as I could. The tears streamed down my face as I took in his deep citrus scent, but his tense arms pulled me back by my shoulders as a low rumble from Kal erupted behind us that I ignored.
He was searching my face and I realized he thought I was in trouble, he hadn't seen me since Kal took me home and he was taking in my marked neck and my tears with caution.
