Nervously, SIngto set his fork down and clasped his hands together in preparation to speak. “I don’t mind the idea at all. I have spent more than 14 days alone and I’ve managed.” He turned his eyes towards Emmie before saying the next part. “I don’t think there is anything for you to worry about so, I think it will be okay.”
Harvey was relieved to hear this and now that he has listened to both of their take on it, his worries have slowly
Singto blurted out. “Okay.” He nodded towards him and turned his body so that it was facing him more. “You know… how you said you have stayed home alone for longer than two weeks?” Krist watched as Singto nodded at him.
The first day felt weird. Singto woke up at half seven in the morning and came downstairs to no one else being there. He almost forgot about Emmie and Harvey leaving to go off to a business trip earlier today. That is, until he saw an envelope with both his and Krist’s names on it placed on the countertops near the sink. He opened it up to see cash as well as a letter inside. Singto set the cash off to the side and read the contents of the letter. To Krist and Singto,
“So, anyway have you had any breakfast yet?” Krist asked carefully as he opened up the fridge. “Uhmm… not yet.”
“My parents were extremely strict.” Singto answered while shaking his head at the thought of his own parents. “They made so many rules and harsh consequences if I failed to meet those rules.” He was surprisingly finding it very easy to talk to Krist about his personal life. “Pretty much everyone that I grew up with was like that though. All my neighbors, classmates, and their parents were the same
“Maybe when I was like thirteen years of age.” Singto answered. This is the exact same age where Singto began to question his sexuality. It is still clear as day. He still remembered staring at one boy in gym class as he changed in the locker room and how he felt a rush when they made any king of physical contact. And at first, he didn’t think that it was anything serious and that feeling would fade, but it only grew stronger. Soon, he started having dreams and fantasizing about the two of them being together. It made him feel so happy and excited, that is, until he went to churc
“Thank you.” Singto spoke as he poked his head into the living room where Krist was sat watching an old movie. “For what?” Krist replied without letting his eyes leave the TV screen.
Dinner was yet again leftovers, which neither of them minded, since Emmie was a fantastic cook, but Krist secretly wanted some pizza. Maybe he will get it tomorrow if the weather clears up. Singto surprisingly ate a normal amount for him and did his best to keep it in his system. All together today, he has had 890 calories, which seems like a minuscule portion, but for him, it is considered to be one of his ‘good days’.Before taking a shower, he took out his scale from underneath his bed when Krist wasn’t looking, to weigh himself to see if it has changed it all. He timidly stepped onto the scale and waited until numbers flashed in front
As the night went on, the storm slowly subsided. The winds calmed down and the heavy pour was turned into barely a drizzle. This calming nature helped the boys sleep well throughout the night without feeling a tiny bit restless. Even Singto, who usually finds it difficult to fall asleep, didn’t have trouble drifting off. By the time morning came around, it appeared like the whole town got cleansed with nature’s showers. May puddles surrounded each home
