When Valeria saw Ergon, she was shocked out of her wits. He seemed like he had come in search of her. Good thing she went shopping as soon as she left Noah. It was as if she knew Noah might suspect her. She had quickly branched through some stores to get some things which would be needed at home, just in case she finds Noah at home and he asks her where she has gone to.

The last thing she ever wanted in a situation like this was to be suspected. But then, she never expected to lie to him. When they got home, she thought Noah would stay over for dinner, but he told her he wouldn't be able to make it since he had things he was working on.
