Lessia's POV

I left the dining room and headed back to my room after breakfast. As I walked through the hallway leading to my room, I stared at the walls keenly. The feeling of familiarity it gave me was sickening. I was tired of looking up and meeting the stares of these walls all the time. I believed Kian would let me out if I took a guard with me, but he declined rather cruelly. I felt dejected.

I arrived at the entrance of my room and reached for the knob. This same door, I sighed. I pushed the door open and went into the room, slamming the door behind me. I collapsed into my bed and ruffled the sheets in frustration. I turned slowly, and faced the ceiling. The boredom was tearing me apart. There was absolutely nothing else to do than sit in bed all day and go down to eat when it was time. That was my routine now. The reality of my everyday life.
