Chapter thirteen
Henry POV
"Are you sure she will be alright?" I asked the herbal woman.
"Yes, just give her some time to heal and she will be after that." The herbal was replied.
"Okay. I'll wait." I replied.
The herbal woman left the area where my wife lay on the floor and I went closer and squatted beside my wife.
My wife looked so thin and sickly. What had happened to her? I wish I had never left her at that moment.
Flashback...
"Ah yes. It's been such a long time since we last met. Look how grown up we both are now." Thomas said.
"Oh, that's so true my friend. I can't believe our paths still crossed after such a long time." I said.
"Well, it's nice to see you again." Thomas said and patted me on the shoulder.
My long time best friend and I had been apart since we graduated from high school.
I'm so happy that we had seen each other just yesterday
