“So, what’s this surprise that you have for me?” I asked as we stepped into the elevator.
“That’s for me to know,” he said, pulling me into his arms. Then, he stopped the elevator.
“What are you doing?” I asked, not quite sure what to make of this.
“How did you know that you could trust me?”
I looked at him, confused.
“I mean, what changed?” Lance asked. Sensing my discomfort, he leaned back against the steel railing, giving me space. “In the limo …”
“I was in shock,” I interrupted, stepping closer to wrap my arms around his waist. “Besides, Amy gave you a good recommendation.”
Lance laughed. “Oh, she did, did she?” he answered, wrapping his arms around me, then his lips crushed down onto mine as he ran his fingers through my hair. “I want to fuck you, right here, right now.”

After our shower, I tried to dress into my scrubs, but I couldn’t get into them. In fact, I couldn’t even pull the pants up past my upper thighs.
