She knocked on the door, earning his permission to enter. Pushing the door, she entered his room. Her eyes landed on him. He was sketching once again. She did not bother to say anything but just walked to him. Her tiny steps helped her in approaching him even though she did not want to go closer to him. The small room turned into a huge hall as she found it really difficult to reach him.

Her heels clicking the floor earned his attention and sparing some time from his sketching, he turned to look at her.

She froze the moment her innocent gray eyes met his forest ones. The green depth of his eyes was slaying. So poisonous that anyone seeing them started tormented by the look. His eyes were powerful and vibrant. They sent a chill down her spine. Her stomach churned in dread but to her relief, he averted his gaze, which leisurely scanned her from top to bottom.
