Azalia ran fast, as fast as she could, but she knew she could never run faster than an Adom man. She could still hear the sound of metal colliding behind her as well as the sound of Leor running after her. His steps were getting closer but Azalia tried not to think about it, the Lavan princess instead focusing on running away. Amos was fighting against Nahash to save her life. Azalia couldn't let his sacrifice be for nothing. She had to get out of this situation alive. And so she kept running, desperately trying to reach the throne room before Leor could catch her. However, the library was one of the farthest places away from the throne room and the corridors all seemed to be endless. Azalia knew she would never reach safety in time. Her fear became true when Leor managed to catch her by the hair then yanked her back toward him. Azalia screamed as she was harshly pushed against a wall, her face pressed against the hard surface with her hands held behind her back. Leor was right behi
Tzilla didn't have enough time to get out of the way of Nahash's sword. She let out a loud scream as the blade met her skin, the attack opening a long gash across her back. "Tzilla!" Azalia watched with horror as the Adom woman collapsed on the floor. She immediately ran to her side, the Lavan princess dropping to her knees so that she could cradle Tzilla's face with trembling hands. She was still alive, but her face was sickly pale and her eyes tightly shut. She was moaning in unbearable pain, and Azalia knew it was only a matter of time before she would fall unconscious then die from her injury. "Why would you kill her?!" She felt intense anger take over her as she looked at Nahash. "She's one of your own!" She was letting her emotions get the best of her, rage and fear and despair quickly overwhelming her. "She got in my way." Nahash told her with a viscous sneer. "That's what happens to people who get in my way." He looked terrifying with blood covering his face and some slither
Azalia didn't say one word as Melech carried her to his room. Her whole being was tense in Melech's arms, uncontrollable tremors traveling up and down her body once every few seconds. She was still in shock from what had just happened, tears threatening to flow out of her blue eyes by the time they reached the King's quarters. Melech was hating seeing her like that. "Azalia." He called as he gently laid her on his bed. He was cautious to not startle her in any way but could tell she was stiff and avoiding his gaze. She wasn't acting like usual and Melech didn't know what he could possibly do to make her feel better. "Talk to me." "You killed him..." Were the first words Azalia murmured in a small, wavering voice. Her sapphire eyes were cast down, the Lavan princess desperately avoiding Melech's crimson gaze. "He shouldn't have touched what belongs to me." Melech lowly growled in response. He tried to contain his anger to not scare Azalia but the truth was that he was burning with r
Azalia could feel strong arms wrapped around her waist when she woke up the next morning. She let out a soft hum, the Lavan princess enjoying the warmth enveloping her body a little longer before opening her eyes. "Morning, little princess." Melech murmured in his low, sexy voice. It made Azalia blush, a rosy shade spreading over her cheeks as she registered the current position she was in, that is in Melech's arms. The Adom King looked unfairly handsome in the morning. The light coming from the windows made his muscles stand out, his sharp jawline and his captivating crimson eyes causing Azalia's heart to flutter inside her chest. "Morning." She felt a warm feeling spread into her whole being as she realized that, for the first time since the beginning, Melech had waited for her to wake up. "You didn't leave." She whispered when Melech began to caress her cheek with his thumb. "I'm not gonna leave you alone in the mornings anymore." He wasn't going to make the same mistake again,
Kissing Melech felt absolutely amazing. It was wild and hot and just mindblowing. There was something about such a powerful man kissing you like you meant everything to him, something intense that Azalia couldn't get enough of."You're so gorgeous." Melech murmured against her lips. "So fierce and passionate and maddening." He began to press kisses down Azalia's neck as he spoke, each of his words drawing another shiver out of Azalia."Melech." She called out between shaky gasps and Melech raised his head to look right into her eyes, before repeating what he had told her just a few moments ago: "I want you."It made Azalia's heart skip a beat, her body feeling warm as if Melech's burning desire was spreading throughout her own being. "Here?" She found herself asking in a slightly breathless voice. They were still in the council room after all, with Melech pinning Azalia against the council table."Yes, here." Melech made Azalia sit on the edge of said table so that he could stand betw
"You have ten minutes, no more." Melech told Azalia as they walked to the infirmary where Emet had apparently woken up. "I don't have any time to waste on such things." He declared, his words harsh and final. "Emet is important to me." Azalia frowned at Melech. "I'll spend as much time as I want with him, whether you like it or not." She wasn't one to take orders from anyone, not even from the Adom King. She wouldn't spend so little time with Emet just because Melech had said so. "He should have been dead for challenging me." He seethed at Azalia's defiance. "I know." She was aware of this. "And I can't thank you enough for sparing his life." Melech would have been in his right if he had killed Emet, because the Lavan knight had been the one to defy him. Azalia was grateful he had let him live, really. "I'll make sure he never defies you again." She would have a serious conversation with Emet as soon as she saw him. Still, Melech wasn't happy. "I don't like him." It was clear the r
"Wait, Melech!" Azalia didn't even have time to blink that Melech had already roughly pushed Emet away from her."You bastard!" The King furiously shouted right before his fist collided with Emet's jaw. "I shouldn't have let you live!" The strength of his punch brutally sent Emet to the ground, the Lavan knight letting out a pained grunt at the impact.Azalia's eyes widened in horror at the sight. Emet was still injured from their duel and therefore couldn't defend himself. Melech was going to reopen his wound and make him bleed to death if he kept going. "Melech! Stop!" She exclaimed as she tried to hold Melech back, but Melech wasn't listening and was too strong for her to do anything."I'm going to kill you!" He growled as he lifted Emet back up from the ground, feeling ready to punch him again. Anger was completely filling him up. He couldn't believe Emet had dared to kiss Azalia, his future wife.Azalia was his. Only he was allowed to touch her, no one else. Emet shouldn't have t
They stumbled into Melech's quarters, Azalia gasping when Melech wasted no time carrying her to his bed. She was laid down on top of the black silky sheets, their lips never parting as Melech followed her."You're so gorgeous." He murmured against her skin. "So perfect for me." His large body was hovering over Azalia's, his calloused hands slipping beneath Azalia's dress and caressing her vulva through her panties. It made Azalia quiver with want and arousal."Melech." She let out a soft sigh of pleasure when Melech began to kiss down her neck."What do you want?" The Adom King asked her. He was looking up at her, a smirk on his lips as he continued to rub her most intimate part with his thumb. "Should I eat you out again?" He could feel her panties getting wet at his words. "Or would you prefer if I fingered you?""No." Azalia surprisingly shook her head. "Neither.""Neither?" It took Melech aback, the Adom King stopping to touch her when she pushed him away. He frowned in confusion,
