88. Came Back Alone

Andrei trudged wearily through the entrance of the housepack, his steps heavy with exhaustion. Lucas, Moira, and Heimzel rushed to meet him, concern etched across their faces as they bombarded him with questions. "Alpha, what happened? Are you alright? Why did you come back alone?" Lucas asked, worry evident in his voice.

Moira's eyes scanned his tired form, noticing the dirt and scratches on his clothes. "You look like you've been through a lot. Did something happen to Sabrina?" she inquired.

Andrei glanced at them briefly, too drained to form a coherent response. He ignored their questions and continued towards his room, needing to be alone and collect his thoughts. "I need some rest," he mumbled as he closed the door behind him and locked it.

Lucas, Moira, and Heimzel exchanged puzzled glances. They couldn't understand why Andrei was acting this way, shutting them out like that. They knew he cared deeply for Sabrina, and her sudden disappearance must have taken a toll on him.
