My Time

Riley POV

I watched Liam walk out of the bedroom with slump shoulders. I knew he was different. It was a short time we were all apart, but enough happened to shake us to the core.

He didn't say much about our child. His eyes told me everything though. He was hurting as badly as I was that she was taken from us. Neither of us was giving up hope yet. I knew Liam and Jax would stop at nothing until the three of us were safe again.

I laid my head to Jax's chest and silently cried. I felt like that is all I have done lately. The man I loved laid fast asleep beside me and he was cursed with something that could change him forever. He was actually cursed by magic. I knew it was real, but it felt impossible.

I was pregnant a few days ago and now I'm empty. My stomach felt uncomfortably small and my arms felt cold being so bare. My daughter was supposed to be here with me, with us.
