My body didn't feel like it was actually here as everything unfolded. It was like my nightmares, where I stood to the side watching everything happen to me.

"Liam." I started to say something, but it left my brain before I could. I was shocked at his words, his hate for me.

We never got along well, but I did care for him. I did want him. He said we wouldn't want each other after I take my wolf back from his soul, but I didn't see that as the truth.
