As the car moved through the city, Nicole took a seat beside me. Her body leaning into me as she inched closer. “Are you alright, Antonio?” She asked, her hand coming to rest on my chest.

I swallowed as I looked down at her hand on me. It felt wrong. So wrong. Her presence. Her scent. Everything about was so wrong. But why? Just because I was in love with another woman, the one who left me. And here I was feeling guilty to let some other woman touch me. For how long I would've to endure this pain? And why should I be a pathetic man too much in love?
