The next day, Haylee went to school again as usual. But now, she felt a bit better mentally since she just met Niel last night. She entered the classroom and sat at her table. Helen and Melly were chit-chatting in front of her table while waiting for the study session to start.
"Have you heard? Brianna gave Niel a Rolex Daytona Platinum watch worth eighty thousand dollars?" Melly whispered to Helen.
Yet, Haylee could hear them clearly since they were just in front of her. Her eyes widen in shock. She speedily stood up and grabbed Melly's shoulder so that Melly faced her.
"Really? Why would she give him that?" There was a clear dissatisfaction in Haylee's voice.
Melly and Helen looked at her in confusion.
"Why are you looking so angry? How am I supposed to know why Brianna gave Niel that watch?" Melly replied, feeling weird about Haylee's reaction.
"Yeah. Why are looking so angry?" Helen asked her the same question too.
"Well...
The day was indeed terrible enough for her from the early morning when she saw Niel was wearing the watch that Brianna gave him and Brianna throw a flying kiss to him. Then the numerous flower deliveries that came to the class for Niel added some salt into the wound inside her heart. She thought that was it. Probably no more, right? What else could be added up to break her heart more? It was recess time and after having their lunch, Haylee, Helen and Melly hung out at the back door of the classroom. They just stood there with their bodies leaned against the wall, watching over students who passed them by along the corridor outside the class. The love was in the air, everyone was walking side by side with their loved ones. "What the hell is this? What kind of atmosphere is this? Is today a dating day?" Melly complained as she saw another couple walk past them. "You know... They said that only those who are single will complain at a day like this," Helen said.
Haylee gasped in disbelief when she heard a male voice outside, asking her to come out. She knew that voice quite well. It was Niel's voice. "Come out now, Baby Girl. I don't want to destroy school property," Niel said again and knocked on the door a little. Haylee took a deep breath and slowly calmed herself down. 'Why is he here?' She wondered. "Haylee Johnson, open the door now. I'm not kidding," Niel was getting impatient. The sound of his voice turned serious as if trying to intimidate her. Haylee slowly unlocked the cubicle door and without delay, Niel pushed it opened and dragged her out by grabbing her shoulder harshly. "Oouuhh..." Haylee let out a cry. "What are you doing? Didn't you hear the bell ring just now? Why are you here? Why aren't you back to the class? Are you trying to become a delinquent now?" Niel snapped at her, feeling annoyed with her behaviour. "Why do you care anyway? Why are you even here?" Haylee r
A little gasp escaped her mouth and Haylee quickly pushed his body away from her. Niel scoffed at her as his body fell backwards to the other wall of the cubicle. He stood straight again and tidied up his shirt that wrinkled a little. "I want to go back to the class now," Haylee said speedily to him. "Good then. Just so you know, I didn't pay your school fee for you to slack off like this. How are you going to enter college later if your grade is messed up?" He lectured her again. Haylee just kept silent, didn't dare to talk back at him. She suddenly felt like she was being told off by her father. Niel got out again from the toilet cubicle and went to wash his hands at the sink. Haylee just followed him from behind, getting out from the toilet cubicle too. Niel stared at his reflection on the mirror in front of him and fixed his hair a little. Then he turned around to face Haylee who was standing behind him. "I'll come to the lakehouse tonight," he sa
When Haylee came home to the lakehouse after school that day, she went straight to lock herself inside the bedroom. She spent her free time doing some school homework and studying. She tried to divert her mind from thinking about the things that happened at school before. It was a terrible day for her. 'Niel will come tonight. How should I handle him?' She wondered. She felt mentally exhausted that day and she felt like she wanted to just sleep. But then again, it was harder to even get to sleep when her mind kept betraying her and thought about Niel all the time. She only came out from the bedroom when it was almost dusk. When she was out, she saw Martha was preparing a small square dining table at the lakehouse deck at the back of the house. The deck was built on the lake and was connected to the lakehouse like a back porch. Haylee approached Martha slowly."What are you doing?" Haylee asked Martha in curiosity. She wondered why Martha would set up a table at the dec
Haylee took out the velvet box from the paper bag and opened it slowly. It was a personalised diamond name necklace with her name 'Haylee'. A little gasp escape her mouth as she felt amazed by the gift that he got for her."So, do you like it? My gift was thoughtful enough, right? So, don't get jealous again for no reason. If you do so again, I'll just buy you another expensive gift to make your heart content again."Niel stood up from his seat and went to her. He took the necklace from the box and stood behind her. Then he carefully helped her wear the necklace."Do you like it? You haven't answered yet," he whispered in her ear teasingly.Haylee got flustered by his action. He chuckled again at her and went to sit back in his seat. Haylee touched the necklace that she wore. It was a thoughtful gift, yet she didn't feel his sincerity. 'You only bought me this to keep my mouth shut about your flirty behaviour at school. It's not like you gave it to me to
Niel could sense that Haylee was staring at him. He slowly turned his head to face her and gave her a ravishing smile."Couldn't get your eyes off this handsome face?" He deliberately tried to allure her.He knew Haylee had a weakness. She couldn't resist him. Since that day she lost her innocence to him on the first night she stayed at the penthouse, she would always fall in love again with him no matter how much she despised or hated him. She would always let him in and never said no whenever he tried to approach her for some intimacy. 'I waited for you for two years. Now that I gained your attention, you couldn't even get me out of your mind. See, Baby Girl... I'm a charming person. You would never be able to resist me anymore,' Niel mumbled in his head."I heard some rumours at school," Haylee said out of the blue. She lowered down her gaze and observed her hand that was being held by Niel. He kept rubbing his thumb on her skin tenderly."Rumou
Niel rolled his body to lie on the left side of the bed. He shut his eyes and patted the bed on his left side to beckon her to lie down beside him."Baby Girl, change your clothes quickly and come here. Lie down beside me," he said to her as if he was her husband. She gaped at him in dubiety, feeling stupefied by his indecent behaviour."Are you crazy?" She whispered-yelling at him.He opened his eyes again and scanned her body. She still hadn't changed her clothes. He was getting impatient so he rose from the bed and approached her hastily. Haylee was startled by his sudden action that she took a few steps backwards. She unconsciously released the front dress that she held before. Her dress got loose and went down to her waist exposing her breasts that were covered by her bra. Her feet stepped on the skirt of the dress and she almost fell onto the floor, but Niel managed to catch her body in time. He helped her stand straight again and embraced her lustf
Haylee blinked her eyes a few times and turned to her right, avoiding looking at him in the eyes. 'How can you toughen up your heart if you keep falling to him?' She reprimanded herself internally."Why? What's wrong with you?" Niel got confused as she suddenly looked away from him.Haylee took a deep breath and faced forward again."Nothing," she said."Do you want Ben to send you to school or do you want me to give you a ride?" He repeated his question."Don't you think that I might gain haters if I get off from your car in front of the school? Are you trying to put me in trouble?" Haylee rebuked him."I can drop you off two blocks away from school. Wasn't that what you always ask Ben to do?" he still insisted a little.'He knew that? Wow, Ben and Martha must be his spies on me,' Haylee muttered inwardly."Still, some students might see me. Your car is too eye-catching, the other students for sure can't get their eyes off it,
