"A dream? Why so?" Niel was confused, couldn't understand what she meant.

"Do you still remember that day when my mom chased me out from home?"

"Yes. Why?"

"That day... you took me to shop and bought me so many things, and then you showed me your penthouse and brought me to live at the lakehouse. Those moments... it felt like a dream. I really thought it was a dream because when I woke up the next morning, my mind seemed not to be able to process it. I screamed that morning and thought I was kidnapped by a stranger when I woke up in your bedroom," Haylee told him what she felt during the first time she slept in his lakehouse.

"I knew. Martha told me," Niel responded and chuckled a bit again.

"It took me days to finally realize that I was indeed living in your house and my mom really did chase me out. Sometimes, I even dreamt that I was sleeping inside my bedroom in my old house."

"Did you still dream like that nowadays?"
