Chapter 68: Absent
Niel groaned in distress as his mind rolled back to reality. He still remembered it quite clear that he had made a promise to Haylee before. He promised her that he would not date anyone else. Now, Brianna was trying to sabotage her at school and trying to make her high school life miserable because of him.
"No... I can't let that happen. Not after Haylee got abandoned like this. Her high school life should be great at least. She's suffering now. I can't just let her suffer at school as well. What should I do?" He grumbled alone inside his study office, having lost of what to do.
He knew what was the right choice for him, but it was also the wrong thing as well. He had never imagined being put in such a situation in which making the right decision was also like making the wrong one. It was too complicated, he ended up being stressed because of it.
"Ahhhh... I have a meeting tomorrow. I don't have time to think about this," He began to sigh over and over again.
