“Tell me about yourself.” Noah suddenly said as we lay down on the bed.

Without looking at him, I replied, “Suddenly?”

“We never really talk about ourselves, Vio. I want to know more about you. About your past and the people around you. Is that wrong?”

“There is nothing interesting in my life, though.”

Noah reached for my arm and pulled me toward him. One of his arms sneaked to my waist, while the other was placed under my head.

“That’s for you. But for me, everything about you is interesting. So?”

I stared at the beautiful man before me, thinking about how we could get entangled with each other. It still amazed me that a mare witch like me could be mated to him. And to think that he seemed to want me desperately baffled me.
