20. A Captive

Shienna looked deeply into Jun's eyes. She had no idea that was what he wanted. She knew he had a crush on her for a long time, but taking his best friend's wife didn't seem to be in his character.

There had to be something he was planning, and it was definitely to destroy Bryan. It could be that he had Bryan's ace in the hole and was so bold as to make an offer that Shienna never expected.

Shienna burst out laughing and pushed Jun's chest away from her.

"I never expected you to be so melancholy, Jun. You must not mean what you say, right?" Shienna looked at her beautifully manicured nails, then refocused on the man before her. "Don't joke with me, Jun. I don't like it."

"You still think what I'm saying is a joke? As you always did in the past." Jun snapped in annoyance. "Do you do that to Bryan, too? Has he ever told you that he loves you?"
