Chapter 69

Bryan had asked his confidant to check the locker as Shienna had informed him and found many things there. However, he agreed to keep all of Jun's files and belongings safe with a discreet guard. She had to make sure first that Jun would release Edward from his charges.

Jun eventually dropped the charges against Edward saying that he had wrongly accused Edward while what happened to him was purely an accident. He also paid a high-ranking police officer who handled the case to exonerate Edward.

Edward was paroled today.

Jennifer picks Edward up, but he and Bryan are reluctant to leave as they have other matters to attend to. Although Jun had withdrawn his charges, the case they were about to report was apparently related to him.

"I found this in Shienna's penthouse and in my mom's room. I can't be sure who it belongs to because it's too small to check. Shie said that gems like this are usually accessories or nail ornaments."

Edward looked at the object in Bryan's hand before handing i
