Bryan drove the car at high speed. It would take two hours to reach Eastonville, but he could do it in less. He rushed to the 21st floor and opened the safe to look for something similar to what he had just found.

Found it!

It was too similar to be a coincidence. He had made it a rule for the staff that none of them were allowed to dress up or use accessories, especially when it came to taking care of his mother. And so far, Bryan had never encountered any strange looks. None of the staff even wore jewelry to work.

"This is strange. What is it exactly?" muttered Bryan, catching Shienna's attention, who had just calmed her racing heart in the car Bryan was driving recklessly.

"What is it? Since when do you collect imitation gems like this?"

"It's not mine." Bryan took Shienna's hand and looked at it. Shienna wore no jewelry other than their wedding ring, which he realized was still on her ring finger. Bryan smiled and caressed Shienna's cheek.
