I nodded since I didn't even know that my face's flushed.
Zaki chuckled, which made me look at him. "I notice that you only talk to Mitch, which makes me wonder if you don't like any of us from the class." He gazes at me, but I grow flustered since I remember his initial question.
"Oh, but don't feel pressured to answer my question. It's just thought since you and Mitch are both new here in the academy, I thought I should help you two to get comfortable."
I wonder why he's kind to me though? There are no benefits for him since I don't excel in anything. If someone had benefits, that would be me since he's the class monitor and intelligent. Zaki's liked by everyone and the kindest guy in our class.
