Chapter 88 - Under the Night Sky

Dinner was served, so we all went to the dining area with grumbling stomachs. "I'm so hungry I could eat that hill!" Joaquin said as soon as he got his share of food. 

"Then why don't you eat it? Pay me if you can't." Arata butted in, and the two of them started bickering. I went to the counter and took my food. I might as well sit somewhere else. I don't want to get dragged into their bickering. 

Without paying attention, I sat beside Mitch, and he didn't mind me at all. When I realized that he was sitting beside me, I really thought that he would leave because of me. I might have thought too great about myself. 

With all that running, I became famished. I never even thought I could eat a whole bowl of rice and more meat. I've never thought this before since I need to maintain a good body for Lia, though I never really gain weight, so it's not a problem at all.
