Storm

After Sean had parked the car, I slowly got out of the car and took hold of Doyle’s hand. Right at this moment he was my strength. Looking at my father, I felt as though I was watching a train wreck or a murder that was about to happen. You know how it is, when you see something playing out in front of your eyes, and you know that what is about to happen is going to be something terrible and won’t end well, but you can’t tear your eyes away from it, anyway.
