Chapter 96
Grayson POV
I have been sitting outside of the apartment building since 4 this morning. The guy from the bar came out at 7 am just like yesterday. I know now that his name is Kai. I listen when he picked up a call yesterday.
I only had to wait another half an hour before the lady came out. Once she got into her car and drove off I caught a cab and followed her. I asked the cab to follow at a safe distance.
At first, the cabbie didn't want to so I told him a lie. Said that it is my wife in the car and I had a strong feeling that she was cheating on me. That she was on her way to meet her lover.
The cabbie then agreed. Told me all about his wife that he caught in bed with another man. I really felt for the guy so I just sat and listened. I also felt bad for the white lie I told.
She stopped in front of a cafe. The cabbie dropped me off a few businesses down. I walked the rest of the way to the cafe.
