Chapter Fifty-Four: Gift

"I'd rather not dine with you, Matteo-"

I say and grab my bag, ready to leave, but the sever pointedly blocks my body; when I move to the right, he follows, and when I move to the left, he also moves to the left without missing a beat.

"Sit down, Olivia, before I have my men pin you to the chair."

"God! What do you want, Matteo?"

"It's more of what you want, Olivia. You are here on a date after my warning; you either don't care about his life, or you are far too selfish."
