As we are stepping out of the dungeon and into the packhouse proper, we get a mindlink from Damien. Run! It won’t be long before he sends us after you. Get out of the territory. Meet me at the abandoned human school outside of town in two hours. I’ll bring supplies, don’t waste time going to your rooms.

We got lucky that my father hadn’t said the official banishment words. I have no idea if that was purposeful or if he was just so hurt and pissed that it didn’t come out right. Either way, it made it so that we could still mindlink with pack members.
