IZZY POV
It had been two weeks since my mom took me to the meadow. I needed that. It wasn’t the therapy that a lot of people would find effective, but it was what I needed. Lucy had been afraid that I would be triggered by her growing belly, but I wasn’t. I was happy for her and I was glad to be back at work with my best friend.
