ALPHA STEVEN POV
With Anne’s statement, the crowd began to grumble. My mate pressed close to me, and I smiled down at her. “This is all because of you, my love,” I told her. She turned her head up at me with a grin. It was due to her empathic powers that we had realized why Anne Thorne had given her original testimony.
“I love it when there is justice,” she whispered back. We both listened for a bit to Silvo’s blustering, insisting that there was foul play involved. I finally grinned at my mate.
