FIVE!!.... Wanting Damian

“What?” I blurt out, blinking stupidly and tearing my eyes away from Damian’s junk, daring to look at his face.

Sure enough, he had a wide grin playing on his lips. His hands reached for the towel and thankfully, he tied it around his waist.

“I said, are you having fun over their sister?” He asked, stepping closer. “I understand if you've never seen something so beautiful in a lifetime. Are you totally blown away?”

Stupid, I thought, mentally slapping myself in the face. Fucking stupid.

I took a step back when he walked over to me, a mischievous glint in his eye. Heat rushed to my cheeks, and I rolled my eyes, attempting to play it cool.

“Please, Damian,” I retorted, trying to hide my embarrassment. “I've seen better. Get over yourself.”

He chuckled, drawing even closer, the heat radiating off him licked at my skin.

“You sure about that, Hannah? Your face is all red.”

“You’re imagining things,” I replied, my tone laced with mock indifference.

Damian raised an eyebrow, “Oh really?”

He took another step closer, and I retreated.

“Yes, Damian. Perhaps you are only seeing what your inflated Ego wants you to see. I'm sorry to disappoint you.”

“Interesting.”

I looked up at his face and his lips were curled in a playful grin.

He was just messing around with me. I would not let him get into my head. And I definitely would not think about his cock. I was better than that.

“Y-Your brothers are waiting for you downstairs,” I informed him, trying to regain my composure.

His eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Already?” he exclaimed. “Well then, I better not keep them waiting.”

“No, you should not. Goodbye,” I spoke in a rush, turning around to race out of the room.

“Bye Hannah. You are welcome to come stare at my dick whenever you want,” He yelled after me.

Idiot.

I didn't know him much, yet I was certain he would taunt me every chance he got.

I went straight to my room, giving myself a mental smack in the head as I threw myself on the bed. What the hell was wrong with me? Why had I stared at him like that?!

And worse, why was I reacting to him like that?

He's an asshole.

A few minutes later, I heard the rev of an engine, and I sighed in relief. At least they were leaving now. That was a fucking relief.

I hoped they stayed out all day. Peace and quiet sounded so fucking good at the moment.

After breakfast, I decided to take a break and explore the house. I needed some time to clear my head and gain a better sense of my new surroundings.

A few minutes walking through the corridor, I praised my mum for shagging a wealthy man.

His house was magnificent, and it was ridiculous that just four people lived there.

There had to be at least twenty rooms in his mansion. Each, bigger than my whole apartment in Chicago.

I kept walking, humming to a tune up in my head when a room caught my attention. Drawing closer, I saw it was a library. I stepped inside, greeted by the scent of old books and the soft glow of sunlight filtering through the windows.

Heaven!!

The room had towering bookshelves that seemed to reach the ceiling. Entranced, I walked to the shelf, running my fingers along the spines of the books in amazement.

Which one of them loved books?

Alex? Dean, Damian, or Damon?

Or were the books just for decoration?

None of the men looked like people who would spend time between the pages of a book.

Well, perhaps except Damon. He had a rather calm composure compared to his brothers.

I pulled out a random book.

Born in Fire by Nora Roberts. A romance novel didn't sound bad.

“Guess you will be keeping me company today, Nora.” I whispered, leaving the library with the book, and walked back to my room.

I was barely on the tenth page of the book when my phone buzzed on the nightstand. I glanced at the screen and saw that it was a call from my therapist.

A small smile tugged at my lips as I answered the call.

“Hi, Dr. P,” I greeted,

“Hello, Hannah,” she replied, her tone soothing. “You sound happy. I wanted to check in on you, see how you're doing.”

I appreciated her concern and honesty, and I took a moment to gather my thoughts. “I've been… navigating numerous emotions,” I admitted. “Been a rollercoaster, to say the least.”

“Change and healing often come with their fair share of ups and downs,” she said. “But remember, you're strong, and you have the resilience to face whatever comes your way.”

Her words were a comforting reminder. She always knew the right things to say, and I would never have come this far without her.

“Thank you,” I replied sincerely. “It's just – everything feels so overwhelming at times.”

“That's completely normal,” she reassured me. “Take things one step at a time. How are you feeling about being in the house with your stepbrothers?”

“It's a mix of emotions,” I confessed. “Although, it is going way easier than I thought. I do not have my usual attacks when I am with them or anything.”

“That is growth for You, Hannah. And your stepfather?”

I hesitated. “Well…it is still hard. We've barely met since we came here, but I am sure it will not be an easy one with him. He is nice, ... he seems nice. I just need to convince my brain to remember that whenever he is around.”

Dr. P sighed, “You are making lots of progress, Hannah, and I am proud of you.”

“It is all thanks to you,”

“Now, Remember, building relationships takes time, especially when there's a complex history involved,” she said. “Be patient with yourself and with them. Allow space for vulnerability and growth.”

I nodded, absorbing her words. “I'll try, Dr. P. I'll try.”

“How about your writing? Have you been able to find some solace in it?” she inquired.

I smiled, “Yes, writing has been a refuge for me. It has helped a lot to pour out these emotions. They can get crazy.”

“I'm glad to hear that,” she said. “Well, enjoy the rest of your stay here, and remember, if you ever need to talk, I'm here for you.”

“Thank you,” I said softly. “I'll keep that in mind, Dr. P.”

“Goodbye Hannah” She said and ended the call.

With a sigh, I got back to my book.

An hour or two later, I heard the door open. Panic surged through me and I rushed down the stairs to the living room to see Damian walking in with a red haired woman.

Who the hell was she?

Damian noticed me and turned, a smirk playing on his lips. “Well, well, if it isn't the curious step-sister,” he teased, his tone laced with amusement.

I raised an eyebrow. “Just making sure everything's alright. I was not expecting anyone home so soon.”

The woman by his side chuckled, exchanging a knowing look with Damian. “You must be Hannah,” she said, extending her hand. “I've heard many things about you. My name is Mindy”.

I raised my brow even as I shook her hand. What on earth was Damian saying about me?

“Nice to meet you, Mindy”

Damian's gaze lingered on me, a playful glint in his eyes. “Mindy and I were just on our way to my room.”

A memory of him and his brothers in that sex club the night before, drifted into my head and I cleared my throat awkwardly.

“Right,” I mumbled. “Well, I'll leave you two to it,”

“Leaving so soon?” Damian teased me when I made to leave. “Mind joining us? I am sure you enjoy…watching.”

What the fuck?

I turned around, shocked at his words,

“Go to Hell, Damian!” I retorted and stormed into the kitchen, angrily.

The nerve of him. I would get back at him later. Definitely.

Once his lady bimbo was gone and I had some lunch in my system.

Glancing around the kitchen and admiring it once again, I took out a left-over sup from the fridge and placed it in the microwave, humming.

The soup had barely heated up when I heard Footsteps on the stairs. I looked up to see Mindy making her way towards the exit.

Damian walked her to the door, their conversation hushed and accompanied by a few chuckles.

As Mindy stepped out and the door closed behind her, Damian turned to head back inside. He froze mid-step, his expression shifting from amusement to surprise as he met my gaze.

“Well, well, Damian,” I teased, unable to resist the opportunity. “That was quick. Two seconds, perhaps?”

His eyes widened for a split second before he burst into laughter. “Oh, come on, Hannah,” he retorted, “That is damn low honey.”

“Pardon me, I was just being curious. Was that a record? Two seconds?”

“I don’t like you, Hannah,” He responded, with an amused smile.

“Ditto,” I shot back, turning back to take the soup out of the microwave, “I just wonder how that girl must have felt… I thought Lycans were supposed to be, yunno, strong in bed. Guess I can’t say the same for you.

I was unaware of Damon's approach until his presence enveloped me. I turned around immediately and gasped when I almost stumbled into him,

He stood just a breath away, the surrounding air suddenly thickened as I looked into his eyes which were not playful anymore, but were now burning with desire.

“You know, if you are up for it, I can show you just how much us Lycans can be strong in bed,” He murmured, lifting his hand to my face

His fingers brushed against the curve of my cheek, sending shivers down my spine. I felt my breath catch, my lips parting slightly as he smirked.

“In fact, I think you want that,” His nostrils flared.

He was right. Definitely right. I could feel the wetness between my legs, and I cursed my treacherous body for reacting to him.

What is wrong with me?

Damian leaned in, his lips just a breath away from mine. “Hmmm, you smell so divine.”

And then, in the heartbeat before our lips would have met, memories flooded my mind and at that moment of slight panic, I pulled away, my hand moving with a swift and instinctive motion.

The sound of the slap echoed in the air and Damon's eyes widened in shock, his hand moving to cradle his cheek. And just like that, the tension that had been building between us disappeared.

“What the fuck, Hannah,” He grunted, still fazed

“I'm sorry,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. “I… I… I didn’t mean to.”

What just happened?

You panicked Hannah, that’s what happened.

Damian’s gaze softened, “Hannah, I didn't mean…"

I shook my head, “It's not you,” I said. He was only teasing me after all, “But please just stay away from me

“Hannah…” I turn around and run upstairs to my room.
