THREE YEARS LATER

Cassandra's POV

"Cassandra, I got a letter for you. It's from the supervisor," I heard Terrence say as he walked towards me in my space in the combi-office we shared.

"A letter for me?" I repeated.

"It's probably nothing fancy, don't freak out," he told me as he dropped the letter on my table and began heading to his table.

"What is it's something negative? I just finished working on the marketing strategy for the new product," I worried.

"Then that should mean that your strategy was accepted," the lady whose office space was beside me, Mariam told me.

"But he usually just tells us when something like that happens," I argued just as another of my colleague, Sonia snatched the letter and tore it open. "Hey! Be careful with that," I yelled as she opened the letter.

"Oh my gosh..." She gasped and my eyes widened.

"What is it?" All my colleagues began asking and I felt my heart pound heavily in my chest.

"Oh my gosh, Cassandra, congratulations!"
