I wanted her to stay, I really do, but it wouldn’t work out, especially when our getting back together isn’t the normal thing. There were still issues between us but I wouldn’t deny that I was happy to have my younger sister back. At least, a part of her.

During the little time we shared, I realized that she had gotten wiser, stronger, and more self-controlled. I’m not very happy with how she’s living her life but she said, she does what she knows best.

But things will change—eventually—until then, we’ll continue waving to each other from hand length.

“You know I don’t have a problem with you staying, right?”

Kendra looked up from the outfit she was wearing—a pink off-shoulder shirt with dark blue jeans. I was rather, in a gold short jumpsuit with singlet straps. My hair was made into a bun but annoying stands still fell on my face from both sides.

The exact reason I made a bun in the first place.

“I know,” she replied, smiling hardly. “But as Cannon said security reasons.”
