Yeah, I said that. Someone needs to tell them the f*cking truth.

Katrina grabbed two forks and placed them straight up on the dining table, glowering at me. I was f*cking sure she had ulterior motives for those forks other than eating.

‘You got that right,’ my wolf, Bolt, said.

“You can’t tell them that! You can never and will never be their fathers!”

“One of us will,” Kane commented, making her flare up.

“Mummy, what do they mean?” Dash asked, changing eye contact from me to Katrina.

There was something about Dash that sparked my interest. I always preferred a male son anyways.

“They’re speaking nonsense,” she said, trying to ignore our stares by stuffing her mouth with chevron.

“Is it because they’re drunk, mummy? They’re drinking alcohol.”

KATRINA

‘Disadvantages of having a sharp kid, isn’t it?’

“Thanks for the observation, sweetie. And we don’t talk while eating so keep your mouths shut and finish your food.”

“But you’re talking?” Aurora asked, pouting and sending a wicked star
