POV Lance
"Hello, dear brother. We need to talk." my older brothers voice announced through my phone.
I snarled.
"Shimon! Where is she?" I spat and the rest of the room continued to watch me.
Alpha Jack motioned for me to put the phone on speaker and I did as he wished.
"She's safe, unharmed. Well... except for Jon slapping her but she's fine now." he said in a voice I had never heard from him before.
"THAT FUCKER SLAPPED MY SISTER!" Troy exploded.
There was silence on the other end for a moment as Shimon must have realized that he was on speaker with her family.
"He did and now he's dead. She's healed and fine. I won't allow her to be harmed again. I swear." my brother vowed and I narrowed my eyes.
This wasn't my older brother. Shimon was usually cold, heartless and cruel. Just like our father. He wouldn't care that Samantha had been slapped. He wouldn't care about her at all. I felt a bloom of jealousy

POV LanceI knelt down behind a bush as I kept my eyes on Alpha Jack, waiting for his signal. Samantha was supposed to link him just as the ceremony was starting so we could make our move.
