102: Annie's POV
I quickly untie the ropes from my legs, but I stay where I am on the ground, knowing my legs will be to shaky to hold me up. My Ansel suddenly apears, jumping over the limo, taking the vampire king down to the ground in one move. Then he takes the kings head off in one bite. The rest of my warriors are here now, fighting vampires on all sides. I watch in horror as one of my warriors move in, to attack Nixie, I jump to my feet and place myself inbetween Nixie and the warriors. The warriors stop dead in their tracks, tilting their wolfish heads at me, tying to understand why I am stopping them from saving me.
"No, he is with me... He saved me... He is just a baby..." I pant out. The warriors nod and turn back to the vampires to finish killing the last of them.

Many in the pack are against the idea of a pack member adopting a child who is not a werewolf. They do not say so directly to me, but I can feel the stare's as I walk around with Nicky trailing behind me. I turn to Ansel, not sure what to do about this vampire who has tried to kill me multiple times suddenly claiming to give me his alegence. *Give him an order, say a few orders out loud, but only put your authority into one, maybe that will help us know if he is lying..?* Ansel tells me through the mind link. I sit with them on the porch, and take the cup of coffee that Micheal offers me, as i start to tell them everything that happened. "Ri'elle... Who was that man? And why did he think i should know him..?" I ask. Ri'elle is quite for a moment, thoughtful. Then he stands and enters the house, I know from years of friendship that i am expected to wait here, so i do. When he returns he is holding a small golden bowl, a bundle of sage, and a lighter. My mind feels raw, like it was put through a meat grinder. My eyes feel like someone used a melon baller to rip them out and then shoved them back in my head. "Ansel, what pack are oyu from?" I ask, suddenly curious because it can't be one of the pack's near by, or surely i would have met him before now... But if he was from a pack further away, i may not have met him. We are friendly amongst ourselves, most werewolf packs send groups of 17 year olds and older unmated wolves, to visit other packs in search of the amore. Traditionally the men do the traveling and the woman remain at their home packs. This started after an Alpha missed his amore because she was out looking for him, he found her 2 years later than he would have if she stayed put. It is not a law or anything, but most packs follow this as an unspoken rule, because no one wantds to miss their amore. The young men spend the summer months traveling from pack to pack until they find their amore, or the summer ends. Amore is the word we use to mean fated mates, paired by the moon goddess. Inamorato is the name you call your make partner, and Inamorata is the female partner. I know
