75: Annie's POV
I gather the group for lunch, we are having chips, sandwiches, and fresh fruit for our lunch today. Once more of the groups arrive, we will be able to get some shopping done, and start eating real, home cooked meals again.
I make sure everyone has some food before I stand up and walk to the center od the group.
"I know that you are all wondering why I came here with you, rather than remaining at the check point like we had originally planned... Something happened, and I wanted to be the one to tell you all. Ans I wanted to give you the respect of telling you in person. But before I do, I need to give you an order. No one is to speak of this to any one outside of the Queens Keep." I say the last part in my Queen command tone. Then I take a deep breath before I continue.
"I do not want this information to distract those who are still in danger and traveling. Do you all understand?" I ask them, once they agree I go on.

I wake up just as the sun is comming up, the world is bright and I wish I could roll over and fall right back to sleep, but I know that I won't be able to. Instead I look over at Ansel, watching sleep. I trace my fingers around his face, his nose, eyes, lips, I commit every detail to memory. He is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I write down the name's of each pack member as they reach me in the line, I make sure there are at least a few people in each area. The main kitchen in the castle, plus the 7 other large kitchens, and 12 other smaller kitchens in the castle, then there are the 84 full bathrooms, and the 52 half bathrooms {these have only a toilet and sink with a small storage area.) There are also 6 public style bathrooms, 3 mens and 3 womens, they each have 7 stales. This place is huge! We haven't even started on the bathrooms yet... I shutter to think how many bedrooms there are. "I have set aside 2 large rooms for the nursery, or at least for the temporary nursery... "I know we are going to have to make all the big decisions eventually, but I think for the tie being we should lean on Alpha Maxwell for guidence." I tell Ansel. "Agreed, he should be givin a voice, I also think that we should make up our own council, take one representative from each of the packs that we our to rule over, that way they can have a say in things like taxes, the gala, and the army. I know we haven't talked about those things yet, but I think most every pack will be expecting each of those things..." Ansel says. "Right, taxes I have thought about, and while I don't really like the idea, I think that we must charge taxes. That way we can use the moneys to fund things like pack repairs after a rogue attack, or a fire, or other such event." I tell him. Ansel heads beck to our tent for an afternoon nap, since he will need to be alert through the night he needs to rest now. I keep telling myself that this is just for today, and after today the schedule will be different and I will not have to be away from Ansel so much. It is not helping though... My heart hurts being apart from him, I know its only for a few hours, but our Amore bond was was damaged before it even had a chance to grow... Because of the nature of the bond it has a will of its own, it WANT'S to be forged, it is trying to push us together. Alpha Maxwell came up to sit next to me, we have never been super close, but he has always trusted me to do what was best for the pack. I know that he is feeling an aweful lot of emotions at the moment, so I am not sure how this private meeting of ours will go. True love's first kill 81: Annie's POV
I talk over a few more things with Alpha Maxwell before he excuses himself to go help set up for the pack meeting we having tonight. I plan to let him run most of the meeting as the Alpha, but as the queen there are a few things that it will be my responcability to address. My shift on guard duty is alost over, I was able to knit 3 baby blankets in the hours I was sitting here. The first one is yellow, with a white trim, the second is pastel, blue with an orange flower in the middle, and the last is a green blanket with a pink flower and a yellow trim. I know there are at least 7 more mothers who are pregnant at the moment, so I will have to make some more, but these are a good start. I plan to give the yellow and white one to the baby that was born today. I am also thinking that maybe I should make some for the babies that are already born, those who came from Ansel's pack, I don't want the children to feel bad later when they figure out that only some have a blanket made by the qu
True love's first kill 82: Ansel's POV
I am on watch with my Warriors, it feels odd to be on duty on the wall with 2 men as my guards. I want to tell them to go away, that I do not need them to babysit me, but Annie agreed that they should be my guards until I decide who it is that I want as my guards. I can keep these men that Annie and Micheal trust, or I can choose my own guards if I find other men that I trust more. For now I will do what I always do, follow what Annie tell's me to do. Because eventhough I am the King, she is my Queen and I trust her not only with my own life, but with everything that I am as well. True love's first kill 83: Annie's POV
I wake up around 4am, the sun has not yet lite up the world, but the wind is howling. I slept in one of the tents last night, Alpha Maxwell and most of the day yesterday moving people into the rooms as they where cleaned out. When I made the lists of the cleaning order for the rooms I put mine last, the rest of the leaders in the pack are right before me. I want the main body of the pack to be housed first before we are. I learned from watching and helping Alpha Maxwell over the last 10 years that this is how a good leader acts, we help the people first, make sure that everyone has what they need and then we take whatever is left over. I change into some clean clothes and leave the tent, I walk into the kitchens looking for coffee. Miss Tilly is already in the kitchen. "What are you doing in here so early?" I ask her. "I am always the first one in the kitchen, it is my job to turn on the oven's and dishwashers, so that they are all warmed up
