Chapter 36: Public Embarrassment

There was a door creaking noise heard in the hallway making Bryson, Dede and Alex look in the direction where Melissa was standing a while ago.

"Check what is happening there," Bryson said and Alex moved towards the direction the noise had come from.

"You look great," Bryson complimented Dede as soon as Alex left.

"Thank you. You look amazing like always too," Dede returned the compliment.

"It was one of the waiters using the back door," Alex reported upon return and Bryson frowned.

"Have that door locked. I don't want anyone using that entrance," Bryson said and fully descended the staircase making Dede move a step back to make way for him.

"Let's go," Bryson said to Dede and strode towards the auditorium's main entrance.

After walking to the door, he turned to find Dede walking like she was counting her steps. He frowned and walked back to her.

"Struggling with the heels?" he asked seeing she was looking at her feet.
